Applied Biosystems ProFlex PCR System
Flexible end-point PCR with independently controlled temperature zones.
The ProFlex PCR System is a thermal cycler used for end-point PCR amplification. Its VeriFlex temperature zones allow different areas of the block to run at different temperatures, which makes it possible to optimize annealing conditions for a new primer set in a single run.
We use the ProFlex for routine amplification ahead of sequencing, for amplicon library preparation, and for method development when a client brings a new assay or primer design to the laboratory.
