Omni International Bead Ruptor 24 Elite
High-energy bead mill homogenization for tough sample matrices.
The Bead Ruptor 24 Elite is a bead mill homogenizer. Samples are shaken at high speed with ceramic, glass or steel beads, which mechanically disrupts cell walls, tissues and particulates without the variability of manual grinding.
Bead beating is the first step for many of our DNA extractions from soils, sediments, biofilms, plant tissue and Gram-positive bacteria. Because run speed and time are programmed, the same disruption conditions can be applied to every sample in a project.

- DNA and RNA extraction from soil, sediment and sludge
