Thermo Scientific Dionex ICS-5000+ Ion Chromatography System
Determination of inorganic anions, cations and organic acids.
Ion chromatography separates charged species on an ion-exchange column and measures them by suppressed conductivity detection. It is the standard technique for quantifying common anions and cations in water and aqueous extracts.
The ICS-5000+ uses Reagent-Free eluent generation, which produces consistent eluent concentrations electrolytically and improves reproducibility between runs.
Applications
- Anions: fluoride, chloride, nitrite, nitrate, bromide, sulfate and phosphate
- Cations: sodium, ammonium, potassium, magnesium and calcium
- Organic acids such as acetate, formate and lactate
- Water quality and process water monitoring
- Sulfate and nitrate measurements for microbial and environmental studies
Typical Sample Types
Waters, pore waters, culture media, soil extracts and other aqueous samples. Filtration may be required.
