Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 Fluorescence Detector
Sensitive and selective detection for fluorescent compounds after LC separation.
The fluorescence detector measures light emitted by compounds as they leave the LC column. Because only molecules that fluoresce at the selected excitation and emission wavelengths are detected, the method is both very sensitive and highly selective.
Compounds that do not fluoresce naturally can often be derivatized before analysis, extending the technique to amino acids, amines and other targets.
Applications
- Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)
- Mycotoxins such as aflatoxins
- Derivatized amino acids and amines
- Vitamins and other naturally fluorescent compounds
Typical Sample Types
Extracts and liquids prepared for LC analysis.
