The installation and validation of our Thermo Scientific Dionex UltiMate 3000 UHPLC System is now complete. The system is configured with a fluorescence detector in addition to standard UV-Vis detection, providing improved sensitivity for compounds that fluoresce — including many environmental contaminants, amino acids, and pharmaceutical compounds.

The UHPLC platform serves as the inlet for our Q Exactive Plus mass spectrometer and also operates independently for routine HPLC separations. The sub-two-micron column capability allows faster run times and improved peak resolution compared to conventional HPLC.

This system, combined with our existing GC-MS and ion chromatography instruments, gives us a broad chromatographic toolkit that can handle most separation and detection challenges our clients encounter.
