We have installed an Applikon Biotechnology continuously stirred tank reactor (CSTR) system with ez-Control for automated monitoring and control of culture conditions. This system supports a variety of controlled studies including microbial culture, wastewater treatment simulation, bioremediation experiments, and process development work.

The CSTR system provides automated control of temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and agitation rate, with data logging for all parameters. Reactor volumes from bench scale are available, and we can configure the system for aerobic, anaerobic, or microaerobic conditions.
