We are pleased to announce the installation of a Thermo Scientific Dionex ICS-5000+ Ion Chromatography System. This instrument fills a long-standing gap in our analytical capability and allows us to offer routine and specialized analyses for anions, cations, and organic acids in aqueous samples.

The ICS-5000+ is a modular, high-pressure capable system that supports both isocratic and gradient methods. Initial method validation has focused on common anions (chloride, sulfate, nitrate, phosphate) and common cations (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium) in water and wastewater matrices.

Ion chromatography has been one of the most frequently requested capabilities we have not previously been able to offer in-house. We expect this instrument to see heavy use from our environmental, industrial, and water-quality clients.
