Coy Laboratory Vinyl Anaerobic Chamber
Oxygen-free workspace for anaerobic microbiology and sensitive chemistry.
The Coy vinyl anaerobic chamber is a flexible glove box that maintains an oxygen-free atmosphere. A hydrogen-containing gas mix and palladium catalyst continuously remove traces of oxygen, and samples enter through an airlock that is purged before it is opened.
Many environmental and industrial microorganisms are killed or inhibited by even brief exposure to oxygen. The chamber allows these organisms and oxygen-sensitive samples to be handled, cultured and subsampled without exposure.
