We have installed a Thermo Scientific Evolution 260 Bio UV-Visible Spectrophotometer to support our expanding needs for nucleic acid, protein, and general absorbance measurements. The Evolution 260 Bio offers a 1.0 nm spectral bandwidth and Xenon flash lamp technology, providing stable and accurate readings across the UV-Vis range.

This instrument supplements our NanoDrop 2000 for applications that require cuvette-based measurements, longer pathlengths, or wavelength scanning. It will also support colorimetric assays and kinetic measurements for various client applications.
