Great Midwest Laboratories has installed a PerkinElmer Tri-Carb 4910TR Liquid Scintillation Counter, expanding our radioisotope measurement capability. The Tri-Carb platform provides sensitive detection of beta-emitting radionuclides including tritium, carbon-14, sulfur-35, and phosphorus-32.
Combined with our existing radiolabeled 35S cold chromium distillation equipment, the new scintillation counter supports a wider range of radiotracer and radiochemical projects. Applications include sulfate reduction rate studies, metabolic labeling experiments, and environmental radiochemistry.
