Two additions to our spectroscopic instrumentation are now fully operational: a Thermo Scientific NanoDrop 2000 and a BioTek Synergy HTX Multi-Mode Microplate Reader.

The NanoDrop provides rapid nucleic acid and protein quantification from 1–2 µL samples — essential for quality-control checks during extraction workflows and before downstream applications like PCR or sequencing. The Synergy HTX supports absorbance, fluorescence, and luminescence measurements in microplate format, making it well-suited for assays that run many samples in parallel.

Both instruments reflect our preparation for expanding into molecular biology services, which several clients and collaborators have expressed interest in. We will have more to share about this direction in the coming months.
