Laboratory Director

Oversees all laboratory operations, quality assurance, and client relationships. Brings over 20 years of experience in analytical chemistry and environmental science, with expertise in chromatographic methods, mass spectrometry, and method development for complex sample matrices.

Dr. Elena Varga

Senior Scientist, Molecular Biology

Leads the molecular biology laboratory, including DNA extraction, PCR, sequencing, and bioinformatics workflows. Joined GML in 2021 to establish and grow the molecular biology service line. Background in microbial ecology and environmental genomics.

Analytical Chemist

Responsible for chromatographic and spectroscopic analyses, including GC-MS, UHPLC, ion chromatography, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry. Manages instrument calibration, maintenance, and method validation for routine and custom analytical projects.

Laboratory Technician

Supports sample receiving, preparation, and routine analytical procedures across multiple service areas. Assists with bioreactor operations, culture maintenance, and general laboratory functions including reagent preparation and equipment upkeep.
