Members of our staff attended the Pittcon Conference and Expo in Chicago this spring. Pittcon remains one of the premier events for analytical chemistry and laboratory science, and the 2025 edition offered a strong program of technical sessions, short courses, and vendor exhibits.

We focused our time on sessions related to environmental analytical chemistry, advances in chromatographic and mass spectrometric techniques, and emerging applications in molecular biology for environmental monitoring. The vendor floor also provided an opportunity to evaluate new instruments and consumables for potential addition to our laboratory.

These conferences help us stay connected to developments in our field and evaluate how new technologies might benefit the work we do for our clients.
