Real-time PCR (qPCR) provides quantitative measurement of target DNA sequences, which is important for applications where knowing the amount of a specific organism or gene — not just its presence — is the key question.

Common applications include quantifying specific microbial groups in environmental or industrial samples, measuring gene expression levels, validating sequencing library concentrations, and quality-control testing of biological products.

The PikoReal supports standard curve, relative quantification, and melt curve analysis workflows. We have validated several commonly requested assays and can develop custom assays for specific client needs.
