We have installed a Photon Systems Instruments FluorCam FC 800-MF chlorophyll fluorescence imaging system. This instrument measures photosynthetic efficiency and stress responses in plant tissues, algae, and other photosynthetic organisms through chlorophyll fluorescence imaging.

The FluorCam supports Fv/Fm, quenching analysis, and other standard fluorescence protocols on leaves, seedlings, plates, or other sample formats that fit the imaging area. This makes it useful for plant physiology research, herbicide screening, environmental stress studies, and phytotoxicity testing.

This acquisition was driven by requests from several agricultural research and environmental science clients. As with all of our equipment, it is available for both routine service work and custom research projects.
