We are pleased to report that Great Midwest Laboratories has maintained continuous operations throughout 2020. After the adjustments made in March and the modified procedures implemented during the spring and summer, we are now operating at close to full capacity with safety protocols firmly in place.

Turnaround times have returned to near-normal levels for most services. Our contactless sample receiving procedure has worked well and will remain available as a permanent option for clients who prefer it.

During the slower periods earlier this year, we used the time productively to complete equipment maintenance, update laboratory documentation, and begin planning a significant capability expansion that we expect to announce in 2021. More details will follow in the new year.
