As our molecular biology workload has grown, we have upgraded two pieces of infrastructure that support safe and contamination-free laboratory operations:

A new Thermo Scientific 1300 Series A2 Class II Biological Safety Cabinet has been installed in our molecular biology workspace. This cabinet provides personnel, product, and environmental protection during work with biological samples and is essential for maintaining sample integrity during extraction and library preparation.

Our Steris Amsco Lab 250 Steam Sterilizer (autoclave) has been replaced with a newer unit that offers faster cycle times and improved record-keeping for sterilization validation. Reliable sterilization is fundamental to any laboratory that works with biological materials and culture media.
