Custom Atmosphere Bottle Preparation Station
Preparation of sealed bottles under defined gas atmospheres.
This station was built in house to prepare serum bottles and culture tubes under controlled gas atmospheres. A manifold delivers purified gases through needles so that the headspace of each vessel can be flushed and filled before sealing with butyl rubber stoppers and aluminum crimp caps.
It allows us to prepare anaerobic media and incubations efficiently and reproducibly, including headspace mixtures tailored to a client’s study.

- Custom headspace mixtures for methanogenesis and fermentation studies
